Chicken Barley Soup

Serving Size: 1 pax


120g Raw Chicken Meat

30g Pearl Barley

20g Carrot

8g Onions (Sliced rings)

30g Celery (Chopped)

15g Parsnip (Sliced thin)

5g dried Basil

5g White Pepper (Ground)

2g salt

500ml water

Cooking Method:

  1. Boil the chicken meat in a pot with water with medium heat for about 30 minutes to prepare the chicken stock.

  2. Add in the pearl barley into the soup and boil together for another 15 minutes.

  3. Add in onions, celery, parsnip, carrot into the soup and cook until it boils.

  4. Slow down the heat and add in dried basil and stir well.

  5. Lastly, add in white pepper and salt to taste.
